Gaeltacht Tour
Gaeltacht Tour
On Sunday 17 May we will be holding our first club tour in aid of special olympics.The tour starting in Dunfanaghy takes in Cloughaneely,Gweedore and the Rosses.From Falcarragh we will make our way along the coast through Magheraoarty to the climb around bloody foreland,then through Derrybeg and Bunbeg to Dore ,where light refreshments will be available . Then on to Crolly to Annagry,and then along the coast to Mullaghduff and Kincasslagh. Turning left , we then head towards Dungloe and then on to n56 where hopefully a tail wind will help us all the way back to dunfanaghy .The route is 68 miles,with a number of shortcuts available for anyone who wishes.
Minimum donation for this very worthy cause is 10 euro/10stg,payable at signon on the day.
Ample parking is available at and near the starting point,the Ozanam centre , on the Falcarragh road in Dunfanaghy.
showers /changing rooms,a massage for the tired legs and refreshments also at the Ozanam centre .
